We had a great experience with Indie Campers! The van was very well equipped, all costs and conditions were explained transparently and communication with customer service worked perfectly! We had an incredibly great time and would recommend everyone to travel with Indie Campers!

Der Van war super ausgestattet, alle Kosten und Bedingungen wurden transparent dargelegt und die Kommunikation mit dem Kundenservice funktionierte einwandfrei! Wir hatten eine unfassbar tolle Zeit und würden jedem empfehlen mit Indie Camper zu reisen!

Another way to contact staff if absent - I can't call as my Sim is Data only. But not long wait so was happy ☺️ Very easy and straightforward to use, extra km not too expensive, great experience all around

Longer power cable and longer fresh water hose The first van had a technical defect after 100 km. The exchange for another van (back at the pick-up station) worked well and quickly.
Längeres Stromkabel und längerer Frischwasserschlauch Der erste Van hatte einen technischen Defekt nach 100 km. Der Umtausch gegen einen anderen Van (zurück an der Pick-up-Station) funktionierte gut und schnell.

The attention of the staff has been unbeatable, especially on the day of the return. They have resolved our doubts both at the beginning and at the end. The vehicle was very good. It would be appreciated if not everything were extras, such as the baby seat, since it is something necessary, for example, in the case of families. The vehicle was quite new and worked well. We had a good vacation.
La atención del personal ha sido inmejorable,especialmente el día de la devolucion.Han resuelto nuestras dudas tanto al principio como al final.El vehículo estaba muy bien.Se agradecería que no todo fueran extras, como por ejemplo la sillita de bebe ya que es algo necesario por ejemplo en caso de familias. El vehículo estaba bastante nuevo y funcionaba bien.Hemos pasado unas buenas vacaciones.

It was great trip we did with the van!
But we think the seats cover needed to be cleaned before we get the van, we felt the previous renter made stains and not cleaned. Also the wiper was old and we needed to buy new ones.
But overall we enjoyed it!

Mainly that the walk through video was quite different to the actual van. Main bed matress was poor quality foam and not mattresses like the video.
Fridge drip tray didn't work, we put a cup to catch the water.
Otherwise great experience overall. The van was quite dusty and wasn't cleaned very well.
We booked to return the van at 8.30 on return day but they were closed. I dropped the van back and put keys to mailbox.
I paid for the car from Monday but picked it up on Tuesday. This was clear in my booking but I was charged a 25€ early collection fee even tho I had paid already from the previous day... please check this and return this fee...

The windshield should at least be cleaned inside and out before the journey begins. More German-speaking staff. If you are travelling by plane, you should pay attention to the additional options. Basic was too poor, we had to buy a lot. It was fine for us. We were travelling independently for 6 days as a test tour.
Frontscheibe sollte wenigstens von innen und außen gereinigt sein, bei Fahrtantritt. Mehr deutschsprachiges Personal. Wer mit dem Flugzeug anreist, sollte auf die Zusatzoptionen achten. Basic zu dürftig, mussten einiges kaufen. Für uns hat es gepasst. Waren 6 Tage unabhängig unterwegs als Probetour.

Add a phone holder on the dash for safety reasons. Having to look down at the gps is a road hazard. Otherwise I loved my experience and would recommend anyone do it Road support was amazing. Everything about the experience is amazing

Nothing we were more than happy with everything!! Sara was a really gentle and friendly person, it was really easy to follow her instructions. Our California was small but nice and had everything we needed! The automatic functions are awesome and I loved that it can drive very fast.

I was happy with the Indie Camper. The team informed me where I could pick up and drop off the vehicle using the remote pickup service, and where I could leave the key. This made picking up and dropping off very easy for me. I was a bit confused by the contract signing - I'm not sure if all the information was passed on here. The engine light came on briefly as soon as the vehicle started, followed by a warning for an engine oil change. We also had to top up AdBlue immediately after starting. It would have been nice if the rental car company had taken care of this service before departure.
Ich war zufrieden mit dem Indie Camper. Das Team hat mich informiert, wo ich das Fahrzeug beim remote Pickup abholen und abgeben kann, wo ich den Schlüssel verstauen kann. Daher war Abholung und Abgabe sehr einfach für mich. Ich war etwas verwirrt von der Vertragsunterschrift - ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob hier alle Daten durchgegeben wurden. Das Fahrzeug hat gleich nach Start kurz die Motorleuchte aufgeleuchtet und im Anschluss war eine Warnung für einen Motorölwechsel. Auch mussten wir direkt nach Start AdBlue nachfüllen. Hier wäre es schön gewesen, wenn dieser Service vor Abfahrt von der Mietwagenfirma übernommen worden wäre.

small things that where broken, like window slides on the back and the sun screens for the front window of the camper. for the rest it was an amazing experiance.
