Great for the price, we had to fix some stuff arround the car, but otherwise it's been great

Our experience with Indie was mostly positive, but there were a few hiccups along the way. The pick-up process in Queenstown took longer than expected—around 1.5 hours—because the original van, though clean, had issues with the roof awning. As a result, we had to switch to a different vehicle, which unfortunately wasn’t fully cleaned yet, as we noticed the fridge was still dirty. Despite these setbacks, the van itself was comfortable for our journey from Queenstown to Christchurch, and the interior design was a big plus. We appreciated having three beds for flexibility, though we only ended up using two. Since we stayed at powered campsites, we didn’t use the shower or stove for cooking. The biggest downside was a gas leak that occurred after two days, leaving us without hot water or heating for the remainder of the trip. This was a significant safety concern, especially given the colder conditions as we traveled through the West Coast and Southern Alps. That said, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, which made a difference in our overall experience.

We slept with 5 friends in the caravan & it was really good, it was a bit disappointing that we had to buy some bedsheets at the beginning of the trip bc we didn’t have enough for all the people

Brilliant experience to see NZ. Pick up was rushed and the van wasn’t clean externally. The grey water sensor wasn’t working at pick up, so we had to empty everyday (no major issue). We were also told that our van wasn’t certified as a self contained vehicle, so we had to pay for camp sites. DropOff was faultless and we weren’t rushed out of the van to gather our luggage. Overall brilliant experience with Indie

The staff were very helpful, especially at drop off. Friendly, courteous, and nice.

Everything was smooth and all good so far

No problems with our camper van! First timers and all went very smoothly. Received a larger van than we ordered so that was a surprise but although it was bigger, we managed fairly well.
